The following five writers (Banana Yoshimoto, Kafu Nagai, Yukio Mishima, Atsushi Nakajima, and Ogai Mori) are the ones I covered in my literature classes. I’ve been asked to recommend another story of each writer by the participants.

You can enjoy quintessential short stories of Yoshimoto through this book. I like this collection, but unfortunately it is available in Spanish and Italian only. I hope they will be translated into English some time in the near future!
